Ruth Theyel

Ruth A. Theyel, 97, of Bonduel, passed away Friday evening, October 2, 2015 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born October 14, 1917, in Navarino, a daughter of the late August and Ann (Seip) Hillsberg.
On September 5, 1934 she was united in marriage to Andrew "Barney" Theyel in Navarino. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1989.
Ruth worked at the Navarino School as an assistant cook for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino and the Women's Society.
Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rose Theyel; three grandchildren: Gary (Joan) Theyel, Julie (Don) Nowak, and Pam (Jerry) Harmann; 8 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Ruth is preceded in death by her son, Don; and 3 brothers.
Friends may call at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
