Ruthann Albrecht

Ruthann Albrecht, 72, of Edgar, formally of Black Creek, passed away Monday morning, January 18, 2016 at Colonial Care Center in Colby. She was born March 16, 1943, daughter of the late Anthony and Avis (Foote) Mallas. On October 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to William Albrecht.
Ruthann was a member of the Amvets Auxiliary Oshkosh Post for several years and she loved her animals. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Trivia. Ruthann was a past Cub Scout leader.
She is survived by her husband, William; two sons: James and Thomas; daughter-in-law, Dawn; grandchildren: Nichole, Scott, Kyle and Katherine; one great-granddaughter, Jordaine; one brother, Leonard (Debra) Mallas; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruthann is preceded in death by her son, Michael.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 3 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Black Creek. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Ruthann's name to the local humane society.
