Sandra DeGroot, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. She was born on October 22, 1941 to the late Robert and Maria (Krause) Bartman.
She worked at Seymour Canning Company and New Harvest Canning in Pulaski for many years.
She enjoyed watching old westerns and game shows, canning, bowling, shooting pool, playing board games, visiting with friends, spending time with her pal ,Boujee and the time she was able to spend with the grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Armador) Castillejo; son, Kevin (Jessica) DeGroot;
5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 4 step-grandchildren; siblings: Steve (Lois) Bartman, Jim (Rose) Bartman and Jeanette (Bill) Harold; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Shirley Bartman, Florence (Marlyn) Knier, Lawrence, Richard, Michael (Karen) DeGroot, Mary Letter, Margaret (Richard) Forsythe, Agnes Schussman, Suzanne Walenta, Loretta (Paul) Paiser, Eleanor (Michael) Lucas and Rosemary (Richard) Brunner; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by brothers: Richard Bartman and Robert Bartman, sister, Kay Vandenberg; brothers-in-law: Martin DeGroot, James DeGroot, Gary Schussman
Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10am until the funeral mass at 11am with Father Sengole Dass and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Entombment will take place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Green Bay.
