Sarah Joan Krause, 40, of Seymour, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She was born February 10, 1976, daughter of the late Robert and Joan (Schroeder) Krause.
Sarah attended Seymour High School and graduated in 1994. She attended UW Madison having earned her bachelor's degree and later continued her education having received her MBA.
Sarah was very active in the community having taught dance lessons and coaching dance teams. She was also a lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church where she served in many different roles over the years including being a vital part of the Praise Band.
The Badgers and Packers fueled her passion as a sports fan. She was a compassionate animal lover, volunteering her time and caring for animals. Spending time with her nieces and nephews brought her joy.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Julia Stadler; brothers: Bill (Debbie) Krause and John (Amy) Krause; her nieces and nephew: Amanda (Ryan) Marin, Laci, Brooke, Heather, and David Krause; uncle, Howard (Dawn) Schroeder; aunts: Vergene Krause and Erma Schroeder.
Sarah was preceded in death by her uncles: Roman Krause Jr. 'Dunk', Eugene Krause, and Jim Schroeder; aunts: Joanne Schroeder, Shirley (Steve) Crossman and Marian (Don) Bork.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 4-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman and Pastor Natalie Kramer-McComb officiating.
