Scott Alvin "Beavis" Denny, age 40, of Oneida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 surrounded by his family.
He was born September 14, 1971 to Barb (John) Anderson and the late Allen Denny. He graduated from Freedom High School in 1990.
Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, landscaping, watching football, Nascar, and being outdoors. He was known to clown around and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loving son, dad, brother, and uncle.
Scott is survived by his mother, Barb (Scott) Anderson, De Pere; daughter Kyla Denny, Ashwaubenon; brother, Kurt (Heidi) Denny, Oneida; 3 sisters: Alex (Sherri Masey) Denny, Texas; Heather (Kory) Wesaw, Oneida; and Linn (Jason Johnson) Denny, Oneida; special friend Kim Gardner, Oneida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Allen Denny; grandparents Alex (Clara) Denny, and Emerson (Victoria) John; great grandparents William (Mary) Metoxen; and niece Autumn Denny.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM with the Oneida Hymn Singers at 6:30 PM and prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Oneida Methodist Church, Oneida, from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Earl Smith officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
