Seifred "Jr." C. Peters

Seifred Charles Peters passed away at home with his family by his side at the age of 86 on September 24, 2023. Seifred was born on December 11, 1936 to Seifred and Alzada (Founder) Peters in Green Bay WI. Seifred married the love of his life Betty Hock on September 22, 1956. Betty preceded him in death on March 19, 2018.

Seifred and Betty took over Peters Stock Farm where they shipped milk and grew multiple crops; one was sweet corn that was harvested for Seymour Canning Company. Seifred in his early years did some custom work. Seifred could take a tractor apart and rebuild it. He also loved a good cigar.

Seifred, along with his brother Milton Peters started a Snow Prince snowmobile dealership in the late 60s, Seifred and Betty were chartered members of the Isaar Snowmobile club. Seifred enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. In Seifred's early years he was an excellent pool player; winning multiple awards. Seifred enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling in his spare time. Later in life, Seifred and Betty enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida in the winter. Seifred loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by their children: Thomas (special friend Rose) Peters, Kathryn (Thomas) Schmude, Judy (Marty) VanDenLangenberg, Lisa Peters, Janet (Cyril) Roffers;13 grandchildren: Alexander (Special friend Amarra) Schmude, Kristina (Travis) Brandt, Brittany Schmude, Kevin (Holly) VDL, Steven (Mackenzie) VDL, Wayne Seifred VDL, Cassie Bain, Haleigh Bain, Kendra Bain, Alzada (Joey) Snyder, Barry Roffers, Darcie Roffers and Riley (fiance Mckenna) Roffers; great-grandchildren: Hudson, Rory, Austin, Gunnar, Jesse, Annabelle, Maverick, Myles, Stella, and Aletta, brother Donald (Jeanie) Peters; sister-in-law, Martha Peters; brothers-in-law: Jim (Barb) Hock, Ken (Ruth) Hock; sisters-in-law: Teena (Norbert) Rottier and Wendy (David) Vercauteren.

Seifred was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents; brothers: Milton (the late Rosella) Peters, Randall Peters; sister, Loretta Peters; and in-laws: Carol and Donald Becks.

Funeral services for Seifred will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N Main Street, at 12 Noon with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Entombment will take place at Allouez Cemetery.
