Sharon Lee Baggs, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was born on November 12, 1943, to the late Lawrence and Eleanor (Merkel) Buss. Sharon was united in marriage to William Baggs on August 15, 1970, and the couple raised two children.
She was a legal secretary for numerous law firms. Sharon enjoyed spending time with the "Red Hatters." She was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling to many casinos. Sharon's greatest passion in life was her family, and she enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and other activities. She was also a storyteller to all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, William Baggs; one daughter, Jennifer (Jay) Holewinski; one son, Jason (Michelle) Baggs; three grandchildren: Kyle, Abby and Madelyn; one brother, Robert (Jan) Buss; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Roland (Barb) Buss; and one sister, Carol (Phil) Burmeister; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Doris (Schley) Baggs.
Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m., Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Good Shepherd Services for their compassionate care. Also, a heartfelt thanks to the family friends for their care and attention over the years.
