Sharon Kay Herceg, 78, our beloved mother, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. Sharon was born on October 21, 1943, to the late Leland and Jessie (Baxter) Brandt.
Her faith, her family, and her friends were her greatest passion in life. She lived with her sister, Vickie Brandt, for many years, and they enjoyed watching after each other and her grandchildren. Sharon had a very caring heart. She was an avid reader. Sharon found peace in nature. She also liked working on puzzles, and sewing and cross stitching.
She is survived by daughters: Maria (Christopher) Zak, Alliance, Nebraska; Mary Herceg, Kaukauna; and Jodie (Joe) Rose, De Pere; grandchildren: four grandchildren: Lea Herceg, Green Bay; Cody (Emily) Van Hoosen, Marinette; Nicholas Rose, De Pere; and Vince Rose, De Pere; six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Vickie Brandt, Seymour; and Carol Brandt, Appleton; one brother-in-law, Jim Baxter, Black Creek; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Baxter.
Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, Pastor Phil Engle officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Riplinger.
