Shaun Hurning

Shaun "Big Papa" W. Hurning, 32, of Seymour, passed away Sunday morning, April 3, 2016 at Aurora Hospital, Green Bay. He was born June 21, 1983, son of Karen Mertens and William Wright.
He was a 2002 graduate of Seymour High School and was employed at Bay Tek Games in Pulaski. Shaun enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Shaun is survived by his mother, Karen Mertens; his father, William (Diane) Wright; two stepbrothers: Josh and Bret Mertens; cousins and extended family, Mike (Robin) Uhlenhake and their children: Jason (Alissa) Routheaux, Mike (Susan) Routheaux, Dana Routheaux, Ashley Uhlenhake and godchildren, Keira and Izayah; nieces and nephews: Clayton, Skyler, Audrina, Kayzia, Ford, Zayden and Nyomi.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. and visitation will continue on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roy Rose officiating. Burial will take place in the Seymour City Cemetery.
