Sheri Lee (Uhlenbrauck) Huettl, 47, Appleton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, with her family at her side. She was born July 15, 1975, to David and Jeanne (Larson) Uhlenbrauck. Sheri was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek. She was a 1993 graduate of Seymour High School, and she continued her education at Fox Valley School of Massage.
On December 31, 1999, Sheri was united in marriage to Rick Huettl and they built a home in Black Creek and enjoyed their time with their two dogs, Maggie and Wally. Rick preceded Sheri in death on June 24, 2011. Sheri had a strong faith in her savior and always had a wonderful attitude and happy smile. For everyone's birthday, she always called and sang her famous "Birthday Song," which we all looked forward to.
She worked for Hoffmaster Group Inc., and later worked at Pierce Manufacturing Inc. for 16 years until her health concerns forced her to retire in 2016. Sheri also greatly enjoyed her work as a massage therapist.
She always would say with a smile, "God Knows what he's doing." Sheri never got discouraged and just enjoyed every day watching movies, talking on the phone to friends and family, working on puzzles, or just sitting watching wildlife. In her younger years she enjoyed cliff jumping, swimming, and she said that in her next life she will be a fish. Sheri loved sending pictures of everyone on Facebook. She was a proud Packers season ticket holder. Every Sunday when the Packers played, Sheri would text, "Happy Packer Day!" to her friends and family.
She saw the good in everyone. She loved to laugh and joke around. No matter how hard her day was she never complained. Sheri always made the best of every day and she was such an inspiration and a blessing.
Survivors include her parents: David and Jeanne (Larson) Uhlenbrauck, Shawano; two brothers: Rick (Candy) Uhlenbrauck, Darboy; and Kevin Uhlenbrauck, Appleton; two nieces: Caitlyn (Steve) Hughes, McCall, ID, and Hannah Uhlenbrauck, McCall, ID; many aunts, uncles, and cousins who she loved very much; her very special friends: Michelle, Kathy, Tim, and Patty, and many more.
Sheri was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Ruben and Doloris Uhlenbrauck; maternal grandparents: Kenneth and Esther Larson; one aunt: Pat (Tony Ratajczak) Zimmerman; one uncle, Lloyd Larson; and "fur children," Maggie, Wally, and Little Bit.
