Shirley Ann Weyland, age 81, of Combined Locks passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was born on December 4, 1940 in Seymour, WI a daughter of the late Adolph and Lydia (Heisler) Tank.
Shirley graduated from Seymour High School in 1959 and married the love of her life, Daniel Howard Weyland on August 22, 1959. Together they raised seven children on their large Seymour dairy farm.
Shirley worked hard on the family farm and had various other jobs.
She enjoyed nature and the outdoors, which included many boat rides, and spending time with family and friends. Shirley was a wonderful mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a great cook, and hosted many fabulous parties. She was a kind, compassionate, humble woman and had a strong religious faith.
She enjoyed listening to WRVM radio, 102.7, Voice of the Master. She went on many WRVM bus trips and attended concerts that WRVM sponsored.
Shirley is survived by her seven children: Sheila Laing, Betty Weyland, Jeff (Erica) Weyland, Lisa Barman, Mark (Jodi) Weyland, Becky Ebben, and Troy (Tracy) Weyland; 20 grandchildren: Christopher Laing, Michael Laing, Renae (Abram Williams) Nackers, Regina (Ryan) Breintenfeldt, William (Christine) Nackers, Joshua Weyland, Melissa Weyland, Matthew Barman, Danielle Barman, Mitchell Barman, Daytona Weyland, Brooklynn Weyland, Kayla Bierhals, Karissa (special friend, Chace Daniels) Ebben, Katie (special friend, Charlie Loya) Ebben, Isaac Ebben, Trista Weyland, Trent Weyland, Michaela Hegnet, and Rachael Forster; 11 great-grandchildren: Taejon Richard, Raphiel Harrell, Jr., Mason Breintenfeldt, Allison Breintenfeldt, Grady Nackers, Grace Nackers, Avery Bierhals, Isabella Hegnet, Brandon, Keontae, and Leeland Forster.
She is further survived by two siblings: Harvey (Lorna) Tank and Leland (Nat) Tank.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, in 2008; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Larry, Elmer (Dorothy), and Carlton (Dorothy); four sisters and four brothers-in-law: Lillian (Phil) Rollo, Caroline (Bill) Reno, Elsie (Irvin) Reinke, and June (George) Kemp; two sons-in-law: Scott Laing and Gary Ebben; numerous other relatives, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Shirley will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Street, Seymour, on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 2:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Pastor John Sitcler officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
