Stephen Buchholz

Stephen "Steve" R. Buchholz, age 55, of Seymour passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 in Seymour. He was born January 8, 1954 in Shawano to Raymond Buchholz and the late Dolores (Boerst) Buchholz.

Steve graduated from Bonduel High School in 1972. On May 17, 1980 he married Elaine Letter at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour.

Steve was employed with Georgia Pacific for 24 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had a great love of nature.

In addition to his wife Elaine, he was the proud father to Angela (Matt) Biese of Black Creek and Amber Buchholz of Seymour. He is further survived by his father Raymond Buchholz of Bonduel, a sister Donna (Miles) Winkler of Gillett, and a sister Nancy (Howard) Van Gheem of Pulaski. He is also survived by 6 sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and a cousin.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores, and mother-in-law and father-in-law Henry and Evelyn Letter.

Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 915 Ivory Street, Seymour, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 4 PM until the memorial mass at 6:30 PM. Fr. Bob Kabat officiating.
