Susan M. Peters, 67, of Green Bay, formally of Seymour, passed away Wednesday morning, December 9, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness. She was born March 15, 1948 a daughter of the late Norman and Lois (Raether) Peters.
Susan graduated from Seymour High School in 1967.
She was well known for her sense of humor and her quick wit. Her smile was contagious and easily recognized. Everyone Susan encountered enjoyed her company and quickly became a friend.
She enjoyed having parties and celebrating her birthday was always her favorite. Susan also enjoyed music, often singing Anne Murray and Abba songs. She was known as the Yahtzee Queen at Bayshore Village, where she has resided for many years. Susan was a rabid avid Packer fan and never missed a game.
Although Susan was born with many challenges, she always handled life with grace and a sense of humor.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
Susan is survived by her sisters: Carol Bausch, Wausaukee/Crivitz; Nancy (William) Rector, Denver, CO; and nephews: David and James Rector. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Anthony Bausch; niece, Sarah Rector.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .
