Taylor R. Nelson, age 18, of Seymour passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon July 9, 2007 due to an automobile accident. He was born July 9, 1989 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, the son of Todd Nelson and Tamara (Rueden) Miller. Taylor was an Honor Student since Middle School and was going to be a Senior at Seymour High School. He was on the high school bowling team, a member of the Seymour High School Band and the Jazz Band and liked golfing, model trains, and was a Nascar fan. Taylor was in 4-H for many years and enjoyed showing cattle at the fair. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was employed with McDonalds.

Survivors include his parents: Todd (Lori) Nelson, Seymour, Tamara (Tim) Miller, Appleton; his sisters, Jessica DeDecker and Paige Rueden-Allen; Grandparents: Shari (Mick) Wolf, Antigo, Mike (Holly) Rueden, Seymour, Ronald (Marie) Nelson, Black Creek, Romaine Nelson, DePere, and Ben (Lynn) Miller, Kaukauna; Great Grandparents: Mildred Nelson, Seymour, Rosemary Rueden, Seymour, Lillian Platten, Menasha, Cal (Jane) Stewart, White Lake, and Sylvia (Ollie) Miller, Appleton; God Parents Amy Rueden, Black Creek, and Kip Rueden, Seymour; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his special dog Akie.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother LaVern Nelson.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 12, 2007 and Friday, July 13, 2007 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 9:30 A.M. until services at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Sarah Yotter officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Taylor, we will miss your smile and kind words. You had a pure soul and a lust for life. You respected and loved people, and you had such an outgoing personality. You will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts forever.
