Terrence Helein

June 20, 1962 — December 21, 2018

Terrence “Terry” Lee Helein, age 56, of Nichols, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 20, 1962, son of Virginia (Vanden Bosch) Helein and Larry Helein.

Terry loved fishing, hunting and camping with his family and friends. He was proud of his John Deere 4520 tractor and loved “Ranching” with the cattle. Terry was the founder of the Whistle Inn Out House Races and the Whistle Inn Chicken Drop Bingo.

He is survived by his wife, Barb; daughter, Katie Helein and son, Andy Helein, both of Nichols; mother, Virginia “Jean” Helein; father, Larry Helein, Seymour; mother-in-law, Catherine “Katie” Diemel, Nichols; sisters: Beverly (Cliff) Reis, Joanne (Kenn) Timm, both of Seymour; also survived by several nieces and nephews; and special buddies “Gilbert and Teddy”.
