Terrie Goffard

December 15, 1953 — November 11, 2016

Theresa "Terrie" Goffard, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016. She was born to the late Gerald and Lillian (Babe Hendricks) Goffard on December 15, 1953 in Green Bay and lived in De Pere and Oneida.

Terrie was a very talented person, especially in music and art. She enjoyed singing in the Echo Mountain family band, especially the Monday night jam sessions at Mom's and Jeff's homes. One of the highlights of her life was a trip to Nashville Tennessee with her mom and Jeff's family, where they sang on the stage of the Grand Ole Opre in the Ryman Auditorium. She fell in love with the Smokey Mountains and said it was the most beautiful place on earth.

Terrie lived at Grancare Nursing Center in Green Bay for several years, where she made many friends. She entertained the residents and staff with her music and art. Her grandkids, especially Kirsten, spent many days with her, creating beautiful art for holidays and seasons to decorate the halls. Her homemade cards and detailed houses brought much cheer to the people there. She enjoyed many holidays and birthdays with her family and grandchildren at Grancare. There were many card games with cousins Shirley and Nancy and the gang.

She is survived by her son Kevin (Annie), and their children: Chandler, Peyton, and Kirsten. She is further survived by her brothers: Mike (Lynn) and Jeff (Sally) Goffard; sisters: Rose (Bob) Leclair, Christine (Ken) Rogers, Vicki Goffard, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her favorite aunt Evelyn "AuntiMa" Goffard, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00, with a parish prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Oneida, from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr.
