Terry A. "Farmer" Hintz, age 42, passed away early Thursday morning, August 26, 2010 due to a farm accident.

He was born March 28, 1968 son of Marvin and Sharri (Gorges) Hintz. On August 29, 1992 he was united in marriage to Julie Kropp.

Terry was a 1986 graduate of Seymour High School and was employed with Boldt Construction and farmed on the family farm. Terry was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Isaar. He was a loving father who taught Derek a lot about sports. He was a likeable and caring man who was a hard worker and had many friends. He was not only a son but a real buddy. He enjoyed farming and combining was his favorite.

Survivors include his wife, Julie, Seymour; children: McKenzie and Derek both at home; parents, Marvin and Sharri Hintz, Seymour; sisters: Debbie Mleziva, Green Bay; Michelle (Doug) Tennant, Seymour; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gary and Doris Kropp, Seymour; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jodi and Jim Soltvedt, Seymour; grandmother Dorothy Gorges of Kimberly; aunts and uncles: Shirley Wunderlich, Hortonville; Gene (Jo) Gorges, Aurora, IL; Jim (Peggy) Gorges, Black Creek; Rick (Marion) Gorges, Appleton; Dennis (Perri) Gorges, Appleton; Julie (Dick) Jacobson, Neenah; Duane (Carrie) Gorges, Seymour; Todd Gorges, Black Creek; nieces and nephews: Brooke, Morgan, Carly, Gavin, Kaden, Zac and Nathan.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4 PM until 8 PM on Monday, August 30, 2010 and Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating. A memorial fund had been established for his children's scholarships and also for the Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
