Thomas Corlett

Thomas P. Corlett, age 79, of Seymour died Sunday, December 02, 2012 in Green Bay. He was born May 18, 1933 in Milwaukee to the late Philip and Esther (Garvens) Corlett.

He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, W. Mason St., Green Bay.

On December 5, 1964 he married Carol Baumbach in Waukesha celebrating nearly 48 years of marriage.

Tom was an accomplished musician and played saxophone. Tom and Carol had a photography business and together they photographed many weddings and also worked in portrait photography.

He worked for Morley Murphy for many years before retiring and working at Bellin Hospital as a security guard.

Tom loved traveling to any place he could take pictures of the scenery. Taking photos was his hobby and passion. He enjoyed visiting museums when he had the opportunity. Tom also enjoyed writing poetry.

He is survived by his wife Carol, Seymour; step-children: David (Kathy) Thoss of Eureka, WI, and their daughter Billie Jo Van Ryzin of Casper, WY; Marilyn (Steve) Mead, Green Bay; daughter Cindy (Harold) Serbian, Oconomowoc; sister Carla Anderson, Colorado; sister-in-law Judy Corlett, Pewaukee; brother-in-law James (Alice) Baumbach, Appleton.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Jr. and a brother, Dan.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 3 pm until the Memorial Talk at 4 pm with Tony Morrison officiating. Burial will take place in the Seymour City Cemetery.
