Thomas "Tommy" J. Eick, 64, of Seymour passed away suddenly from natural causes on Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born May 23, 1958 a son of the late Clarence and Mildred (Landwehr) Eick.
Following high school Tom began working at Appleton Papers and worked there for 38 years until his retirement.
In his younger years Tom was an avid snow and water skier. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed getting out fishing and hunting. Tom was always visiting with friends, and could usually be found riding his motorcycle or coffee clutching with the guys.
He was a man with the biggest heart, and was filled with a generous nature.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jean; son: Chase (Kelly) Beschta and grandchildren: Korbin, Cecelia, and Malachi; daughter, Riki (Jay) Szymanski and grandchildren: Max and Kane; brothers and sisters: Shirley (Ken) Melotte, Jean Tierney, Marilyn Gonnering, Patti (John) LaTourneau, Steve (Nancy) Eick; sisters-in-law, Pat Eick, and Janice Eick. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Ardell VerCauteren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: David (Kay) Zarnoth, Diane (Lee) Genske, LuAnn Zarnoth, Linda VandeVoort, Debra (Jeff) Strey, and Tina Palubicki.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie (Steve) Helms, three brothers: Jim, Roger, and Kenneth Eick; father-in-law, Floyd Zarnoth; brothers-in-law, Tom Gonnering, Frank Kielar, Jim Tierney, Mike Zarnoth, and Nick VandeVoort.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 2:00 pm until the funeral service at 4:30 pm with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
