Thomas J Fischer, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, January 25, 2008. He was born November 18, 1938 in Antigo, son of the late Earl and Caroline (Bahr) Fischer. In 1983 he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Fredrickson in Appleton. Tom was a truck driver until his retirement and trucked for John Bruecker Trucking, prior to this he was employed with Appleton Papers and an Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson, 'Little Joe'.
Survivors include: his wife Mary Lou, Bonduel; his children: Rob (Jackie) Dey, Seymour; Dawn Packard, Antigo; Mike Fischer, Antigo; John Fischer, Antigo; his grandson, Little Joe, Seymour and 5 other grandchildren. He is further survived by: one brother, Ken (Pat) Fischer, Birlington; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Carol Scott, Clintonville; Barbara (Dick) Fletcher, Bear Creek; Tim (Susie) Beyer, Sugar Bush; and many nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his two dogs: Fluff and Meathead.
Tom was preceded in death by: 1 sister and a brother-in-law, David.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 from 5 PM until 8 PM and Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Shiocton. Online condolences can be made to www.muehlboettcher.com .
