Thomas J. Prendiville, age 71, passed away Christmas Eve, December 24, 2009 at his home. He was born March 20, 1938 in Ireland son of the late John and Mary (Lane) Prendiville. On April 18, 1964 he was united in marriage to Carol Jorgenson in New York.
Tom worked at Diana Manufacturing for 28 years and the Oneida Casino until his retirement. He and Carol have resided in Chetek for the past two years. He enjoyed his 40 acres in Chetek and loved watching the wildlife, feeding the birds and will always be remembered for his teasing.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; and their children: John (Myla) Prendiville, Las Vegas; Patrick (Shannon) Prendiville, Oneida, Shane (Mary) Prendiville, Minneapolis; 8 grandchildren: Cassandra, Stephanie, Theresa, Zachary, Stacey, William, Destiny and Angel; four sisters: Hanna (Vincent) Mc Sweeny and Philomenia (Patrick) Mc Closkey, both of Ireland; Christinia Naughton, CA; Catherine (Wayne) Anderson, CA; one brother John (Claire) Prendiville, NY.
He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas P. and two sisters, Eileen Dwyer and Maureen McNama and two brothers, Maurice Prendiville and Aeneas Prendiville.
Friends may call Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 4 PM until 7 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Oneida from 10 AM until funeral services at 11 AM.
