Tony "Oly" R. Olsen, 38, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2016 at home on the farm with his family by his side. He was born September 13, 1977, son of Ken and Judy (Moes) Olsen.
He showed incredible strength as he courageously faced his last two weeks. He was most concerned with the welfare of his family, friends, and farm. He was an inspiration to us all.
Tony graduated from Seymour High School in 1996 and Northeast Technical College in 1998. He worked various jobs until he started farming fulltime 12 years ago. He was proud to take over his grandpa Ben's farm. Tony loved his cows and was able to drive his skidsteer and feed his herd the day before he died.
Tony was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and served on the Cicero Fire Department for 10 years. He enjoyed time with family and friends, playing volleyball, watching sporting events, especially March Madness, and participating in sporting event pools.
Tony is survived by his parents, Ken and Judy Olsen, Seymour; siblings: Kim (Craig) Melotte, Pulaski; Kelly (Greg) Cieslewicz, Green Bay; and Bennie (RaeAnn) Olsen; Antigo; nieces and nephews: Raymond and Philip Melotte, Erin, Megan, Alanna Cieslewicz, Bennie Jr., Annette, and Evelyn Olsen.
