Verona Freund

Verona Freund, age 96, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011, in Seymour. She was born March 22, 1914, daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Smith) Riehl. On June 7, 1933 in the Township of Ellington she was united in marriage to the late Clarence Freund. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1971.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
She is survived by her children: Lorna (Harvy) Tank, Appleton, and Janet (Richard) Wendt, Lakewood; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Lila Kaddatz, Seymour, and Alma Marien, Menasha.
She is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 great grandchild.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family.
