Formerly of Seymour

Viola (Jochman) Moser, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at St. Paul Nursing Home, Kaukauna. She was born November 27, 1918 in Mackville , the daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Deitz) Jochman. On April 18, 1939, she was united in marriage to Clifford (Cliff) Moser. For five years they farmed north of Black Creek, after which they operated a farm north of Seymour, for about 25 years. In 1970 they moved to the city of Seymour. They were married 54 years before Cliff passed away on August 9, 1993.

For many years Viola was an active member at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. Vi taught CCD classes, was a member of the Christian Mothers and she helped at parish dinners. Viola enjoyed working at home in her garden and flower beds.

Viola and Cliff were blessed with seven children: Sister Jean Anne Moser, a Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity of Manitowoc; Lorraine (Lorie) Moser, Santa Rosa, CA; Carol Jean (Gary) Schadrie, Tipler, WI; Clifford J. Moser, Mesa, AZ; Robert (Evelyn) Moser, Appleton, WI; Shirley (William) Van Der Kamp, Green Bay, WI. Their son, Donald Moser passed away on December 12, 1998.

She is further survived by her 15 grandchildren: Vincent III (Michele) Sloane; Brian (Lynn) Sloane; Terry (Lynn) Schadrie, Todd Schadrie, Tracy (Kerri) Schadrie, Tammy Schadrie (special friend Buddy); Tonya (Randy) Van Groll; Unchana, Varunee and Suwana Moser; Jill (Bill) Jansen; Keith Moser (Fiancee Sophia); Chad (Bree) Van Der Kamp; Leah Van Der Kamp (special friend Cole); and Renee (Peter) Page. Vi also has many great-grandchildren.

Viola is survived by eight sisters and brothers: Vernon Jochman; Edward Jochman; Lawrence (Veronica) Jochman; Gert Langenhuizen; Cyril (Margaret) Jochman; Arlene Conti; Doris (Jim) Vanden Heuvel; Melvin (Doris) Jochman and Cliff's sister, Ruth Huss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff, one son, Don, great-grandson Damien, two brothers, and one sister.

Visitation will be held at 9 A.M. until funeral services at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, 915 Ivory Street, Seymour with Father Robert Kabat officiating. The burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, Seymour. The Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family.
