Virgil W. Marohl (Butch), age 88, of Seymour, formerly of Bonduel, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2022 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.
Virgil was born on March 15, 1933 in Oconto to Walter and Evangeline (Lambrecht) Marohl. After serving in the US Army, he spent the majority of his working years as a carpenter working for various construction companies. Virgil was a member of the American Legion Post in Seymour and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and watching the Packers and Brewers on television.
Virgil is survived by his three children, Mark (Elaine) Marohl, Suzanne (Roy) Van Gheem, Michelle Nyson; brother, Jerry (Lynne) Marohl; brother-in-law, James Moldenhauer; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Evangeline; sister, Jean Moldenhauer; nephew, Michael Moldenhauer.
A private funeral service was held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour with burial at the Seymour Cemetery. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Services for caring for Virgil for the last 5 years. Any memorial gifts can be forwarded to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek.
