Virginia "Ginny" Moes, 92 of Black Creek passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Forest Glen Assisted Living in Seymour. She was born March 28, 1930 a daughter of the late Paul and Mildred (Stark) Beyer.
On December 1, 1948 she was united in marriage to Arthur Moes at the South Main Church of Christ. Art preceded her in death on January 7, 2004.
She was a member of Cicero New Life Methodist Church.
Ginny was born on and spent nearly 90 years of her life on the family farm.
She was a loving mom who took us to Sunday school and church and taught us to be kind, honest, and empathetic. She was an amazing cook and baker, impeccable housekeeper all while working hard in the barn, and in the cabbage and cauliflower fields.
Ginny is survived by her children: Patricia (James) Kroncke, Linda (Ray) Wery, and Randy (Linda) Moes; grandchildren: Jennifer Marchant, Joe (Erica) Kroncke, Deanna (Nick) Nighbor, Susie (Bob) Prokop, Lindsey (Jeff) Schmidt, Mark (Amanda) Wery, and Cody (Rachel) Moes; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Judy (Kenneth) Olsen and Carol Moes. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Merlin, Delyle, and Irwin Beyer; three sisters: Freida Heinrich, Lila Dickson, and Edna Moser.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at New Life Methodist Church, Seymour from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Gail Ray officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, town of Maine.
