STEPHANI, VIRGINIA
Virginia Stephani, age 98, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born January 13, 1912 daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Huhn) Liebhaber. On November 3, 1930 she married Greg Stephani at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1992.
Virginia cooked in the Seymour School District for many years. She was well known for her crocheting and sewing projects. She also had a green thumb and loved to garden.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and Clem, four sisters: Josephine Rutter, Sister Vivian Liebhaber, Gertrude Mullen, Roselie Eisenreich and brothers-in-law: Anton Rutter, William Treml, Eben Mullen, and Carl Eisenreich; sister-in-law Edna Liebhaber.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
