Wanda L. Webster, age 69, of Oneida passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born July 15, 1945, daughter of late Emerson and Minnie (Summers) Hill.
She was united in marriage to Clifford Webster on March 26, 1964 celebrating over 50 years of marriage.
Wanda worked with the Oneida Tribe for many years and served in various positions, including: Community Health Representative, Contract Health Director, Tribal Secretary, Oneida Appeals Judge, Gaming Commission, and Gaming Licensing Coordinator, prior to her retirement.
She volunteered for the recreation department, spending many of her holidays cooking for various events. Wanda never missed a Brewer game and enjoyed watching the Packers. She enjoyed playing bingo and slots with Beverly and Norman. Family was very important to her, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events was one of her favorite things to do.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford; three children: Roberta "Robbie" Thomas, Green Bay; Clifford Jr. (Tammy) Webster, Oneida; Marla (Anthony Bodway) Webster, Oneida; seven grandchildren: Robert (Shandelle), Dominic (Traci), Jasmin, Joelle, Justin, Toni Marie, and Clifford; three great-grandchildren: Azaraiyah, Princeton, and Suriya. Further survived by her siblings: Beverly (Norman) Skenandore, Jeanne (Jerry) Kurowski, Brenda (Glen) Vanden Langenberg, John (Janet) Hill, and Norma "Tober" (Richard "Breezy") Brzezinski; sister-in-law, Irene Hill; Cliff's family: Shirley Blum, Donny (Alma) Webster, Irvin Webster, Audrey Webster, and Rita. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her dog, Bowser.
Wanda was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Webster; brother, Casper "Bummy" Hill; sister, Lorelei (Tom) Begay; grandparents: Richard (Sarah) Summers and Abram (Esther) Hill; Cliff's parents, Arthur (Josephine) Webster; in-laws: Robert Webster, Marty Webster, Marie Scott, and Arthur Webster, Jr.; nephews: Brian Metoxen and Keith Vanden Langenberg.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 4 pm to 8 pm with the Oneida Hymn Singers at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Oneida United Methodist Church from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Candace Ascher officiating.
