Wayne P. Belongia, age 50, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay with his family by his side.
He was born January 25, 1960 in Kaukauna to Harold and Geraldine (Douglas) Belongia.
On December 29, 1979, he married Judy Scholz in Gresham. Following marriage, Wayne entered the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. After 10 years of dedicated service he returned home to reside in the Fox Valley area. He was currently employed driving school bus with Huettl Transport.
Wayne enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, golfing and camping. He also adored spending time with his two granddaughters and outdoor activities with his family.
He is survived by his wife Judy, two sons: Jason (Johanna), Seymour and Josh, Seymour; two granddaughters: Madeline and Carly; mother Geraldine Belongia, Appleton; five brothers: Mark (Cathy), Bruce, Glenn (Earlene), Harold, and Richard (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father Harold, his brother John, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call at Muehl Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, February 15, 2010, from 4 PM until 8 PM, and again on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 9:30 AM until funeral services at 11 AM at the funeral home.
