William Davis

William Harold Davis, Jr., 69, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Bellin Hospital, peacefully with family by his side. He was born January 27, 1947, in Lexington, Kentucky, son of the late William Harold Sr. and Helen Louise (White) Davis. On October 8, 1988, he was united in marriage to Peggy Malewski.
Bill was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. He was a member of the local Seymour Post 106 of the American Legion, having served with honor in the US Navy as a radioman and cryptographer from 1968 to 1971. He was a 1976 graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago in Engineering Science and worked for several industries in Wisconsin before retiring.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Peggy; children: Brian (Marianne) Davis, Andrew (Lauren Dee) Davis, both of St. Paul, MN; Sarah (Charles) Danner, Plover; Barbie (Kevin)Wigen, Winter Springs, FL; Bridgett (Bill) Mihalski, Krakow; Brenda (Brandyn) Salaj, Seymour; Robert Jr. (Rachel) Bloedorn, Bonduel; 21 adoring grandchildren; sisters: Mary Green, Jackie Green and her daughters, Emily and Suzanne; Karen (Rodger) Dunn, all of Simpsonville, KY; close friends: Jeremy Helser and family and Richard Mihalski; daughter-in-law, Shelly (Chris) Desterheft; many nieces and nephews.
Preceeded in death by a son, Bryan Bloedorn.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. and visitation will continue at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating and military rites to follow at church.
