William S. Jackels, age 62, Black Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 3, 2012. He was born Dec. 1, 1949, son of Bernice (Sief) Jackels and the late Louis Jackels. On June 27, 1970, Bill was united in marriage to Karen Nackers. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek. Bill enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, reading and slot machines.
Survivors include: his wife, Karen; 2 children: Adam (Stephani) Jackels, Freedom, Erica (Georgel) Olenici, Milwaukee; grandchildren: Gabby & Henry Jackels and Alexander Olenici; brothers & sisters: Bob (Le Ann) Jackels, Linda (Florian) Van Handel, Mary Kay Lester, Pam (Jerry) Sturm, Tony (Beth) Jackels, Joe (Lisa) Jackels; mother-in-law, Loretta Nackers; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Dale Nackers, Roy (Ann) Nackers, Jim (Joan) Nackers, Mike Nackers, Mark (Pat) Nackers, Lisa (Dave) Rupiper, Vicky (Dennis) Bayer. Preceded in death by his father, Louis; father-in-law, Victor Nackers; brothers-in-law: Dan Lester & Daniel & Michael Nackers.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, with visitation starting at 4 p.m. and services at 7 p.m. at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating.
