William R. Davis, 77, Black Creek, passed away Saturday evening, June 20, 2015, at his home with his family by his side. He was born December 18, 1937, in Oconto Falls, son of the late William and Melicia "Toots" (Lambrecht) Davis.
Bill graduated from Shiocton High School Class of 1956. He was an Air Force Veteran for 4 years and was a member of Laborers Local 330 for over 50 year. He loved hunting and fishing out west.
Survivors include his children: Wanda Davis, Tigerton; Todd (Stephanie) Davis, Forest Junction; grandchildren: Tom Westphal Jr. (Megan), Nick Westphal (Tricia), Kayla Harp (Ryan), Freedom Melotte (Cody), Tabatha Davis (Jacob); great-grandchildren: Paisley Westphal and Declan Westphal; one sister, Iolene Nitske; special friends, Gerry Hofacker and family; and good friend, Bob Neiland.
Preceded in death by step-parents, Sam Hammond and Ruth Davis; two brothers, Robert and Richard Davis.
Friends may call at Muehl - Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. until a memorial service at 7 p.m.
